For those of you not following the nitty gritty of the World Cup, you’ll need to know this background.
Briefly, one of the best players in the world, Luis Suarez of Uruguay bit, yet bit, a opposing player, Jiorgio Chellini of Italy. Biting is considered a horrendous act in the world of football, even though it is less dangerous than a dangerous tackle.
He was sent home in disgrace and banned from football for 4 months.
But that’s not why we’re posting.
Today he issued an apology, which we like to see. It’s on twitter.
In response, the opposing player responded and forgave him. Here is the exchange in this image (apologies it is so tiny!):

Wow … sent home in shame … I think he’ll be shamed for the rest of his life. Who bites??? Public twitter apologies don’t change who you are. He’ll forever be a biter in the eyes of the public. And history is made …
