Our Tues Nov 19th event was our first.
It came together in short order largely due to the willingness and enthusiasm of 5 speakers.
Here I list a small bio for these speakers. They trusted the process and committed to performing on the night. Isn’t that just like life – an opportunity comes your way and you take it and run with it.
In order of speaking:
Andrea Neil
“Perspective”
World Cup appearances (4); Canadian Sports Hall of Fame member; Soccer Hall of Fame member. Prolific coaching career – WhiteCaps, Women’s National Team, to name a few. Currently the Head Coach, UBC Women’s Varsity Soccer Team. Born with displaced hips, she was told she wouldn’t be able to run. Clearly, that didn’t stop her from becoming a decorated athlete and now professional coach.
