I am hosting an event as part of an overall campaign called PLAY IT FORWARD http://goplayitforward.net
PLAY IT FORWARD is happening June 1 to July 5 in different locations centered in Canada and other parts of the world. The occasion? It is the Women’s World Cup of Soccer in Canada and we want to celebrate!
PLAY IT FORWARD aims to build on the natural partnership between men and women and boys and girls to go a step further to celebrate girls and women and specifically to reduce violence to girls and women.
PLAY IT FORWARD event participants will play soccer for 20 minutes and 15 seconds to celebrate “2015 – The Year of Women in Sport!”
Where you come in. We will be raising money from our participants and wish to donate it to a charity involved in reducing violence to girls and women in our community.
Would you be interested in being our ‘official’ charity?
Our next steps are:
– To receive confirmation from you in writing, on your letterhead, that we are endorsed to raise money for you. See here for an example of such a letter (click on this link).
– To be provided with an assigned contact from your charity with whom we can communicate. For example, to receive your logo and promo communications. You will be invited into our group calls to meet the event organizers and contribute to communications and promotions.
