Chimo Community Services launched the BC’s Toughest Men campaign Sunday with the goal of curbing what has been dubbed an “epidemic” of domestic violence in B.C.

“It is a men’s issue,” says Mark Miller of Chimo Community Services. “Traditionally it’s been viewed as a woman’s issues and I think in order to make some changes it’s going to take men and women working together, and men standing up and saying it’s time to change some things.”

    Hi there,
My name is Bernard Jacob and I am a Social Worker by profession. I had worked for the last 10 years in the area of domestic violence especially with men in Calgary, Alberta. I am writing this email because I would love to be part of your work. I am not looking for any position with you guys etc. but just to be part of your cause. I am also a childhood survivor of domestic violence. Hope to hear from you soon.
